Feminine Image - A Vacation Look

Vacation Outfits for Women Over 50: Chic & Easy

Few combinations feel as luxuriously vacation-ready as white linen wide-leg pants paired with an off-the-shoulder blue top. The pants offer a voluminous, fluid silhouette that breathes beautifully and resists wrinkling enough to look presentable straight out of a suitcase. The off-the-shoulder neckline frames the collarbone and shoulders in a way that feels feminine and fresh without being overly revealing. Espadrilles add height and a distinctly coastal flair, while a straw tote and simple hoop earrings finish the look. This outfit belongs on the Amalfi Coast, at a harbor-side lunch, or strolling through a seaside village.

It strikes the perfect note of relaxed elegance.

  1. If your goal is to embrace and showcase broad shoulders, off-the-shoulder tops are one of the best choices, especially when paired with:
    A-line skirts.
    Wide-leg pants.
Bottoms with patterns or volume to balance proportions.

  3. I love off the shoulder tops but because I need a bra to support my forms, the bra straps are problematic. I haven't been able to find a strapless bra that effectively supports breast forms. Rhonda, as the fashionista that you are, any thoughts or recommendations?

    1. Have you tried "stick on " forms?
You would need to ensure the "stick" was firm and not likely to release at an inopportune moment. Pamela

  4. As lovely as it looks on the lady in the picture on my skinny frame, off the shoulder would only accentuate my boney collar bone, shoulders and sun damaged skin.
Think I'll stick to tops with sleeves. Pamela
