I am facing a family issue that is exactly this. After all the years of passive acceptance I am facing a life-changing issue. After encouraging you to be brave and face obstacles, I now face a passive aggressive ultimatums.
I will not be a hypocrite and say one thing and then turn and be forced to do another. The untimate cost may be massive.
Being transgender is difficult for us to justify and more difficult for family, long term, to accept and tolerate.
Please be patient. I may take a few days off writing while this gets sorted out.
