I don't usually wear heels to go grocery shopping, by the way, but I was on my way home from some event. Anyway, the guy looked me up and down and said, "You are one monumental woman." Is there room for me on Mt. Rushmore? :-)Conniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15951206717208424386noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2237446155472519339.post-35596451020208043282019-12-23T21:24:06.241-05:002019-12-23T21:24:06.241-05:00Hi Velma,

Sometime when I am feeling crazy, I accept their compliment, I answer "Thanks, you ought to see 'em in heels and hose!" AND if I am really in CRAZY MODE, and if they offer disbelief I offer the lady a view of a selected selfie! Most are amazed!
My legs were shaped by the exercise of years of climbing up and down tractor-trailer ladders.
When I am in gurl mode, wearing just 3" heels with hose, the compliments really come forth from the ladies.... Quite a rush!
If you 'got em' flaunt em' !
Cant wait for warm weather to return, so I can show off my 'gams'.
Velma
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2237446155472519339.post-53100611252849271792019-12-23T13:30:20.442-05:002019-12-23T13:30:20.442-05:00I am 6'5" barefoot. I figure that I'...I am 6'5" barefoot. I figure that I'm going to be noticed and be recognized as trans anyway, so why not wear a cute pair of heels. A nice pair of heels simply makes me feel good. Thank goodness for Amazon, where I can find some really great heels in a size 15. One of the main compliments I get is on my legs. Ciswomen often ask if I can really walk in them. Yes, yes I can.

RandyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2237446155472519339.post-60112872526441563182019-12-23T09:47:46.562-05:002019-12-23T09:47:46.562-05:00Wow. I all regards, size does matter and while being so tall and adding heels may make me stand out more wherever I go I suppose taking a 'dam the torpedoes' attitude will get me through.
Merry ChristmasPat Scaleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00148601231866277374noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2237446155472519339.post-7217657747152687242019-12-23T09:37:25.989-05:002019-12-23T09:37:25.989-05:00All but one of the men giving their takes are Mill...All but one of the men giving their takes are Millennials, the one GenXer being close in age to one. I can't help but think they would look at me in my 4" heels and say, "OK, Boomer.(pun intended) It's alright with this Boomer, though, because I'm not interested in dating them or making out with them. On the occasions that I've danced with men, I've been taller than them, but I don't think that was the reason for not being asked for a second dance. Although I learned how to dance most of the ballroom dances, as a man, I acquire a form of dyslexia when I try to dance "backward." I'm definitely no Ginger Rodgers, but I can appreciate what she said about dancing with Fred Astaire - that she could do everything he did, but backwards and in heels. Not many Millennials know ballroom dancing, anyway, so I'm safe, there. ;-)

Conniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15951206717208424386noreply@blogger.com
