Years ago I saw a women in a hosiery ad wearing a uniquely patterned pair of hose that I just happened to have and I decided I wanted to remake her outfit. My efforts paid off and the reflection in the mirror reflected the woman in the ad (at least from the neck down). At that moment, I wanted nothing more than to be a hosiery model!
Hi Rhonda, I have had several of these moments but the first and most striking was while attending one of my early "First Events" put on by TCNE outside of Boston. I found and purchased a formal gown at the conference's resell it shop. It was a pale blue gown with a flowing skirt. The banquet was held in a room with a partition wall of mirrors. When I got up to join the buffet line, I saw myself in the mirror and for the first time I saw a woman and not my male self in a dress. It was a surreal experience to say the least. Keep up the good work with this site and have a great holiday.
