Black is easy match along with white and many getting these not completely with the "match / match" thought. Just practicality underneath their outfit.
The site ThirdChoice said this about matching:
While matching underwear sets offer a glimpse into personality, your undergarment choices reveal even more when you consider color palettes. While still being subtle, the color you gravitate towards in your underwear can be a powerful form of self-expression. Whether you lean towards matching sets in traditional classic neutrals or vibrant hues, your color palette speaks volumes.
My experience; At Soma we sell sets (separately) that are designed to go together. Like the set shown, we sometimes have pattern that are an obviously match. Above Soma - "Embraceable Boyshort Panty with Enchanting Lace" and "Embraceable Perfect Coverage Bra", both in PALM PERFECT M CHAMPAGNE. If you search the soma site that color is used in several other panty type and even night shirt and gowns. I like it.
These are new items that are part of your summer collection. I unboxed and hung for display about 75 of the bras a few weeks ago. Be still my heart and thy pay me too! Will I get a set? Likely.
How about you - Do you get match sets?
Yes, I always match the color of my bra and panty. I would also add matching full slips. I am a "dresses only" gal; not one pair of pants in my wardrobe. Over the years I have amassed a nice collection of colorful full slips. It was very common in years gone-by to find displays of matching bras, panties and slips. Old magazine ads clearly show the marketing of this trio of undergarments together.
ReplyDeleteI always wear matching bra and panty sets. I love pretty lingerie and wear it for myself to make me feel feminine energy. While I'm the only one who knows I am wearing it, It is a big part of my feminine expression.

Feminine energy - I like that.
DeleteHave you met Rachael Jayne Grover? She is an Australian entrepreneur who has built an international motivational consulting business based on the concept of feminine energy. Her books and seminars are quite inspiring as is the story of her business. I first heard of her several years ago when a transgender blogger described going to a seminar en femme and how well her ideas worked.
DeleteI try to match bras and panties but the bras that actually wearable all day often don't have matching panties (unless you are okay with just white and black). Hence I am often left with "kinda matching".
