A Good Day For...

 "Escapes" Come in Many Forms!

For nearly four weeks I did not ride. First the healing in my leg and getting the infection clear. Then internal scar tissue in the infection area. That caused limited
left leg mobility plus added pain. Would I ever be able to wear my beloved heels again?

Now happy to report the majority of the leg issues are resolved. My next-door neighbor is a Doctor and we disussed just how dangerous my infection was. Had the infection gone to the bone or blood the survival rate is less than forty-percent. I was on massively strong antibiotics to treat an infection that had evolved into a mostly antibiotic resistant strain.

So, if ever I needed a reminder that every day and every "ESCAPE" is precious, I tell you, live for the day. Tomorrow is never a certainty.

A Good Day For...

Feminine Differential - A Practical Look

For many the art of Femulation (as Stana describes it) is a process with or without a destination.

Without a destination you get all dressed up and remain home enjoying cleaning, cooking or self exuberance. This is your time and the "escape' is as real as you need.

For others the process is extended into hours of preparation to be able to escape, ever so briefly, into the civilian world. Sometimes noticed. Sometimes stealth. Fear be dammed! The adrenalin rush is enormous which only robbing a bank could rival. "I did it - the world did not end".

I know this feeling well because in the early days this is just as I felt. Maybe to just mail a letter at midnight or drive-through to get a hamburger. Yes, I breached my front door and am so proud of my bravery. Truly an "Escape". Time to clean up now and plan/dream about the next time.

As our "Escapes" have evolved many of us have nurtured feminine personas that become less male and default into the feminine. You first notice it when no extra-effort produces a, "Welcome Ladies" pronounced when out with friends. What was it that prompted that response?  Some of us may have enhance our feminine persona by an androgynous style that blends masculine and feminine elements to blur gender lines. In my case my solid white hair is nearing mid back that I wear in a high ponytail much of the time. All of my jeans are feminine slim cut, some pull on leggings. My sneaker are typically a female designated size although there is very little difference in look these days.  My shirts / blouses are fitted sometimes scoop neck or drop shoulder.

Let's be practical.  Although a subtle feminine approach is my desired daily look, a degree of practically is necessary.  A doctors visit or a return to Home Depot does not require heels and makeup. I have no qualms about being seen as myself in what I call a casual, everyday blended feminine look. Above is similar to what I am wearing today for a Doctor's consolation on a medicine I am not tolerating well. After, there will be a quick lunch at an outside cafe.

Here is an over simplification; For decades women have been borrowing for the masculine side so I borrow from the feminine.  Why not?

How do you blend your "Escapes" to be practical and still be you?

“une femme d’un certain âge”

Mastering the Boy-Girl Mix for More Interesting Outfits

What does it mean: Une femme d’un certain âge is a French expression (“a woman of a certain age”) that suggests a positive attitude toward age, and alludes to the wisdom, experience, and elegance that we acquire along the way.

I found a blog recently written by Susan Blakely that not only defined this French term, but gave it meaning.

By Susan Blakey March 18, 2024

One of the things I’ve always loved about the French style aesthetic is that there’s often a mix of masculine and feminine elements in an outfit. Today I’m sharing an easy striped sweater outfit. And I’ll break down how I balanced the masculine / feminine elements to hit my style sweet spot.

I think a little bit of contrast or tension in an outfit can be what makes it interesting. Outfits that are too much one thing can look a bit formulaic and expected. I love mixing masculine and feminine, rough and refined, polished and relaxed, or classic and quirky to achieve a certain vibe. (And I’ve never been comfortable in a strictly “girly” look, anyway.)

Nowadays, many types of clothing have become more unisex. (Jeans, for example.) And whether an item of clothing “reads” as masculine or feminine may depend on the viewer’s culture, region, upbringing, and traditions. It’s not my intention to perpetuate rigid gender stereotypes, and your perception of an item may differ from mine. And each person will have their own idea of what feels “balanced.” But here’s my breakdown, and why this look hit the balance and vibe I was going for.

The boy-meets-girl outfit breakdown

Starting with the base, the jeans and tee alone would read as masculine. (Especially a cuffed, straight-leg jean.)

The bandana pattern of the scarf leans a little masculine, but the soft, silky fabric is more feminine, so that’s a nice mix right there.

The softer shape and crocheted texture of the cardigan read as feminine, though the stripes temper that a bit. (Straight lines and shapes tend to read as more masculine, curved lines and shapes more feminine.)

The shoes…definitely feminine with that pointed toe. (I could also go slightly more androgynous with a pair of sneakers instead.)

And the soft bag with the drawstrings also reads as more feminine.

What opposing elements (if any) do you try to balance in your outfits?

The Daily Beast: Trump’s Weird Shoe Fetish Just Got Even More Embarrassing

Donald Trump has been betrayed by the very company behind a set of discount dress shoes the president literally can’t buy enough of.

Trump is reportedly, and inexplicably, so obsessed with a pair of $145 Oxfords—produced by Chicago-based brand Florsheim that he’s lately taken to forcing White House staff to wear them too. The longtime mall brand’s loafers was worn by King of Pop Michael Jackson.

“All the boys have them,” a female aide told the Wall Street Journal on Monday. “It’s hysterical because everybody’s afraid not to wear them,” another added.

“The Redesigned Signature” T-Shirt

THE MEANING

My Note: Like the tee.

Living Redesigned

The Redesigned Tee is the defining piece of the Signature Collection — created for the Living Redesigned woman and the standard she carries.

Crafted from premium mid-weight cotton, this luxury women’s t-shirt offers structure without rigidity and softness without compromise. The silhouette is modern and intentional — relaxed yet refined, designed to integrate seamlessly into a curated wardrobe.

The typography is architectural and declarative:

Redesigned. A word that represents discipline, growth, and conscious evolution.

This is our brand legacy shirt — the piece that anchors Living Redesigned. It is designed for women who build their lives with clarity, who value refinement over noise, and who move forward with purpose.

Pair it with tailored trousers, structured denim, or layered under sharp outerwear for a minimalist, elevated aesthetic.

This is not trend-driven apparel. This is elevated identity wear.

Feminine Differential - The Athletic Look

A few post ago I notice how cute white shorts and white tee could look together. Add to that, feminine platform athletic shoes (trainers for the rest of the world) and you have a great gym, outdoor cafe, or going to the market look.

The shorts were an easy find on on Amazon "Women's Sweat Shorts with Pockets Cotton French Terry Drawstring Summer Workout Casual".  The drawstring is an easy fit and love that they are definitely short.  I ordered small for a nice front and back fit. The material is neither sheer or to heavy; perfect.

The platform sneakers are also Amazon, "LUCKY STEP Women's 90s Chunky Sneakers Sparkly Bling Rhinestone Rope Platform". The heel height is 2.6 inches so who will know you are wearing heels. Just the right amount of feminine look.  Be warned, they do make your foot overall look a little larger than I expected.

There is a sister pair "K KIP WOK Chunky Sneakers for Women Fashion Platform White Leather Casual Dad Shoes Comfortable Wedge Walking Sport Sneakers" with at 3.15 lift / heel.

My concern, maybe a to youthful look?  I will try it out and let you know.

Sports bra is optional. However,  like Stana on Femulate says, "Feel like a woman. Wear a bra!"

High School Class Reunions...

Speaking before my class at the reunion
Ten years ago this summer, I attended my 50th High School Reunion. I attended as "Rhonda" although all remembered me as "Tommy". It was an amazing experience.

Just recently I was browsing my Class's Facebook page and found a "thank you" tribute I wrote to my class shortly after the reunion in October 2016 and saw all of their comments.

Sad as I read some of the comment, I remembered that several of classmate / friend has passed away. A very good reason to not put off events and seeing friends that are important.

We have our 60th reunion coming up this Summer. Here is my encouragement - If you have the opportunity, don't hesitate.

How are you enjoying being a crossdresser?

 Happy and Content

Pinterest, Reddit and Quora are all inspirational and help us to understand ourselves better. I am going to assume the information posted is public domain and will, from time-to-time, share those post that touch me. Many post follow the narrative "Crossdresser" although is you are living as a female you likely have move past that point.

Here is an especially encouraging Quora Post by Pamela:

As a crossdresser, what is your favorite outfit?
it's so difficult to choose
because I love most women's clothing
but if its summer I'd have to say either
shorts or a summer dress.

After suffering for 40 years failing miserably as a man I felt it was time for a drastic change so I decided to explore all those feminine feelings urges and desires I carried secretly for all those years. The first time I was fully feminized seeing my reflection of this attractive sexy woman staring back at me I actually cried out of happiness to finally feel see the person I should have been born as. It felt as if a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders. I couldn't stop smiling at how I felt and looked. In a single brief moment my physical appearance, my emotions and my mental state all came together making me realize my life as a pathetic beta male was finally over. I accepted and embraced being a woman was now my new life. Pamela was born and I've never been healthier physically and mentally as I have been these past 16 years. Yes I finally achieved the life I so desperately wanted to live.

After being in the closet for 5 years working on my body image, make up, trying all types of clothing, accessories, breast forms, walking and talking in a more fem way I realized just how normal and natural it felt being in women's clothes. Having so many fem traits, charasterics and personality then adding the clothing and I got such a boost of self confidence to finally be an attractive sexy person. That changed my entire life as I decided my life would be much better if I just accepted and embraced the fact I preferred to be dressed as a woman. That's exactly what I did and it's now been 16 years I lived full time as Pamela and I've never been happier.

Pamela, thank you so much for sharing your story.  Reader, be advised that if you venture into reading more of Pamela's post, some are (R) rated.

Feminine Differential - Animal Print

I ask Google AI: "Is Animal print still in?"

Yes, animal print is currently very in style, having a significant revival in Fall/Winter 2025 collections and street style. It is being embraced as both a bold statement and a modern neutral, with popular versions including leopard, zebra, snake, and cow print. Modern styling often involves pairing the print with basics or using it in accessories like shoes and bags.

I was some what sure of the answer because it is one of those style that never seem to completely disappear.  Even our Soma bra collection has one of more animal print bra/panty matches.

The top is "Animal-Print Bubble-Hem Chiffon Blouse, and the pants are Chico's "Brigitte™ Slim Pull-On Ankle Pants".  This I believe is a good combination and the top will look great will wide-leg black pants.

The pants style grabbed my attention first with it's pull-on flat - front look. I have come to enjoy the feminine look of pullup and high wasted pants. The fit is a definite feminine differential and take pants out of the "male" look; especially with a slim leg cut.

I will keep you posted and will have photos when they arrive.

Transgender Youth Abandon By Healthcare

NYU Langone ending Transgender Youth Health Program

BY: Zanger, Jenna DeAngeli
Updated on: February 18, 2026

NYU Langone announced Tuesday it is discontinuing its Transgender Youth Health Program, leaving families frustrated and advocates fighting back.

There's outrage in New York City's LGBTQ+ community over the decision to end that treatment at NYU Langone.

The move comes in the wake of President Trump's Jan. 2025 executive order banning gender-affirming health care, and a December Trump administration proposal to withdraw federal funds from hospitals providing gender transition treatments to young people.

"So-called gender affirming care has inflicted lasting physical and psychological damage on vulnerable young people. This is not medicine. It is malpractice," Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. said in December.

"Given the recent departure of our medical director, coupled with the current regulatory environment, we made the difficult decision to discontinue our Transgender Youth Health Program. We are committed to helping patients in our care manage this change. This does not impact our pediatric mental health care programs, which will continue," NYU Langone said in a statement.

"President Trump pledged to restore common sense and put a stop to unscientific and irreversible child mutilation procedures. The Trump administration is delivering," a spokesperson for the White House said. "Trans youth exist"

NYU Langone had reportedly begun cancelling some appointments shortly after the executive order was signed, so the shutdown of the entire program more than a year later may not come as a complete surprise. It is drawing the ire however of a number of advocacy organizations.

"What I know is that trans youth exist. I once was a trans youth myself. This care is supported by nearly every major medical association in the country," said Elisa Crespo of the Stonewall Community Foundation. "American families are really hurting right now. I'm being contacted by parents of trans youth who are devastated and don't know where to turn."

Crespo said it now falls to the city and state to help fill in the gaps in care.

"It's a shame our government is getting in the way of decisions that should be made between families, young people, and their doctors. It's a shame they are perpetuating such a bias and harmful narrative about gender affirming care," Crespo added.

Advocates are calling on NYU Langone to reinstate the program, while hoping the city and state will help fill gaps in care.

Reddit - The truth about crossdressing and being married

Mallory

I get a lot of messages about how I “came out” or how my wife took it. Hopefully this can help a lot of you out there with the same curiosity or questions.

So just some background how it happened to me… I’ve crossdressed well before I met my girlfriend who is now my wife. About two weeks before my wedding date my (at the time) girlfriend found my stash of clothes. As any normal girl would do, she assumed that I was cheating. Which is a normal response in all honesty. Therefore I was left with the question: either say I’m cheating and lose the love of my life… or tell her everything and hope she still loves me. As you can tell, I told her everything, showed proof, and hoped she wouldn’t leave me.

Her first question was if I was transgender. Which is fair. I told her that I am not transgender or any other label that falls under lgbt. More power to you if you are, I just happen to be a straight guy who likes to dress up.

The next question was why. I simply told her that I like dressing up just because. It also has to do with the fact that I’m in an extremely masculine line of work and that I need a release. For me, that just happens to be dressing up and taking on the roll of Mallory. It takes my stress away and I just like being someone else for a while. Also… the clothes feel lovely 🥰.

Once she knew why and the reason, she was very accepting. For a while I struggled with alcoholism and anger. This was a relief for me. In a way, crossdressing made me a better person/husband.

Just because you open up to your wife and she is accepting of it, doesn’t mean that it comes with boundaries.

For example: sexual activities while dressed is a no go for my wife. Which is completely understandable. She told me that she wants me to be the real me during all of that, which is perfectly fine with me.

The biggest thing is establishing boundaries with your significant other of you are like myself. You still have to respect him/her. Don’t ever try to force something onto anyone, whether it’s dressing up, or anything for that matter.

For me, I still get a little uncomfortable going full out girl mode in front of my wife. So don’t be surprised if it happens to you. I fall into a very masculine line of work, which gives me the thought that I should always be this macho man all the time.

If I’m being honest, clothes don’t bother her whatsoever. She actually loves when I wear panties. It starts to cross her sexual boundary when I wear full makeup and a wig. The reasoning behind that is because I start looking “too” feminine, and it’s a little strange for her. That being said, refer to how I mentioned everything about setting boundaries. However, at certain times, she encourages me to do my “thing” as a stress relief”

Just remember, it’s not just you…it’s about her as well. From an early start set those boundaries. This is the key to success.

What might also help is the benefits she will get. For example extra make up products or make up remover. Make up remover is a big one. As well, you have a sense of feminine style, so when she goes shopping for clothes she will trust your judgment more lol. Another thing I like to do is take care of household chores while I am dressed up. She will never be mad at you while doing that lmao. Just to be clear, I’m not saying that it’s a woman’s job to do household chores. Gender norms, as you can tell, aren’t a thing for me.

Furthermore, if you’re contemplating about telling your significant other, there is no clear answer. It’s also not guaranteed that she will be accepting. My best line of advice is to give her the reason why you like to do so.

Once again, I’m a straight male who just likes to dress up and take on the role of Mallory. If you are trans, bi, etc. this might not apply to you.

No matter what, I really hope this helps with some of you girls out there!

If you have any questions, fell free to ask!

The Files and Now A War Distraction

NPR: Justice Department withheld and removed some Epstein files related to Trump

Warning - This article contain explicate sexual material.

Originally published February 24, 2026 5:00 AM ET
Heard on Morning Edition

The Justice Department has withheld some Epstein files related to allegations that President Trump sexually abused a minor, an NPR investigation finds. It also removed some documents from the public database where accusations against Jeffrey Epstein also mention Trump.

Some files have not been made public despite a law mandating their release. These include what appear to be more than 50 pages of FBI interviews, as well as notes from conversations with a woman who accused Trump of sexual abuse decades ago when she was a minor.

NPR reviewed multiple sets of unique serial numbers appearing before and after the pages in question, stamped onto documents in the Epstein files database, FBI case records, emails and discovery document logs in the latest tranche of documents published at the end of January. NPR's investigation found dozens of pages that appear to be catalogued by the Justice Department but not shared publicly.

The Justice Department declined to answer NPR's questions on the record about these specific files, what's in them and why they are not published. After publication, the Justice Department reached out to NPR, taking issue with how its responses to questions were framed. Department of Justice spokeswoman Natalie Baldassarre reiterated DOJ's stance that any documents not published are privileged, are duplicates or relate to an ongoing federal investigation.

Following NPR's reporting, the House Oversight Committee's ranking member, Rep. Robert Garcia, D-Calif., released a statement about the missing files.

"Yesterday, I reviewed unredacted evidence logs at the Department of Justice. Oversight Democrats can confirm that the DOJ appears to have illegally withheld FBI interviews with this survivor who accused President Trump of heinous crimes," Garcia stated.

Democrats on the House Oversight Committee have already been investigating this allegation against the president and will now open a parallel investigation into the DOJ's decision not to release these particular documents.

This collage shows photos of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell on a plane, as well as black-and-white photos of students playing in an orchestra and a girl near a cabin. There are also fragments of documents showing over $350,000 in donations from Epstein to the Interlochen Center for the Arts.

But one lead was sent to the FBI's Washington office with the purpose of setting up an interview with the accuser. The lead was included in an internal PowerPoint slide deck detailing "prominent names" in the Epstein and Maxwell investigations last fall.

The woman who directly named Trump in her abuse allegation claimed that around 1983, when she was around 13 years old, Epstein introduced her to Trump, "who subsequently forced her head down to his exposed penis which she subsequently bit. In response, Trump punched her in the head and kicked her out."

Political Cartoons 3-1-2026

A permanent seat on Donald Trump's "Board of Peace" designed to oversee Gaza's reconstruction, requires a contribution of $1 billion in cash. The initiative, launched in early 2026, allows invited nations to secure permanent membership via this payment, while standard terms are for three years.

According to NPR: So there's a lot of criticism among analysts saying Trump is really trying to undermine the U.N. here and even make world diplomacy transactional.  The charter does not say the president of the United States is the chairman. It says Donald J. Trump would be...

THE BUNKER Artspace

I had the immense privilege of being invited to an art gallery / museum opening. It was a fundraiser and clothing drive for The Palm Beach LGBTQ center's prom. There were well over 200 art lovers in attendance. The art; paintings, photos and mixed-media was stunning. Many famous contemporary artist are represented. The building spans a whole city block and is two stories. Thank you Compass for the invitation. Here is a further description of the art space:

The Bunker Artspace opened in December 2017 as a private art space in West Palm Beach, Florida. Presenting rotating exhibitions of the Beth Rudin DeWoody Collection, The Bunker showcases a vast range of contemporary art, iconic pieces of furniture, and other curiosities. Built in the 1920s as a toy factory and utilized as a munitions armory during World War II, the Art Deco building now provides the ideal stage to show a considerable amount of work outside of DeWoody’s domestic spaces and to a wider audience by invitation and scheduled private tours.

Through DeWoody’s passion, vision, and continuing support of emerging artists and galleries, she has redefined the boundaries of collecting. By championing emerging and, at times, overlooked artists, especially in the early stages of their careers, she has amassed a truly unique collection. From a significant amount of work in the Collection, DeWoody and co-curators Laura Dvorkin and Maynard Monrow have assembled a selection that includes works by leading contemporary artists, while always pushing beyond “the greatest hits” to deliver a more complete view of contemporary art today.

This season, our 2025/2026 Guest Curator, Marie Watt will present Companion Species (Witness), an exhibition that highlights the interconnectedness between humans, other species, and the land, while presenting an incredible range of Indigenous artists in conversation with artists across all backgrounds. Watt asks, “Could learning the history of a place reframe our relationship to it? Could we begin to steward the planet differently if we humans saw ourselves as related to animals, plants, water, and other entities that we share space with?”
