International Female Ride Day '25 |
Saturday, the ride day was a washout. I rode up to Treasure Coast Harley, my local dealer, expecting many riders. Just as I pulled in, the rain started. Obviously the other riders had checked the radar before leaving home; I did not. In my defense, it was sunny and bright when I left.
There were about six of us willing to wait out the spring shower. However, it did not stop drizzling for almost 2 hours. Some left, but I hung out, ate a hotdog (or two) and enjoyed talking with several other riders. Finally the the rain slowed, Florida sun out and I heading home. Once I got about two miles from the dealership, the streets were not even wet. The day was not a complete washout, I did get several good photos to mark the occasion. Enjoy...
I made the effort and the escape, even on a rainy day, was worth it. As "ESCAPES" always are!
