Amazon Boots |
My Note: The leggings /Jeggings look is quickly becoming one of my favorite feminine styles. My everyday, wear to work look, is black legging over a long black or white top / sweater extending past my bottom. Our dress code require black and white mixed or all one color. The tight fit of the leggings, remind me of panty hose, (remember those), feel great and are certainly a feminine differential.
Boots have been my nemesis for many years. Finding boots that work with my lower leg (below the knee) are always purchases when a return option is available. I have returned many that could not be zipped or just not allow my foot entry with my high instep. I so want to try boots with leggings and may have found a solution on Amazon. (Mysoft Women's Knee High Boots Chunky Heel Boots with Zipper). A very reasonable price and the reviews are positive. I will keep you posted with photos if they work.
Today delivery note: For the price beautiful boots. Foot, although tight, worked because zipper started at the floor of the heel; easy on. However, after much effort and tugging the zipper would not zip to the top. It was close with only about 1 1/2 inches to go over the naked calf. Disappointed - Another return.

Tunics are such type of clothing that is really versatile and it can be worn in combination with almost anything and still look good. But so are shoes too. A pair of shoes can really brighten or completely sabotage our outfit depending on the design we are going to choose. To avoid spoiling our look we should pick our shoes carefully.
When it comes to mixing styles with boots and tunics our options are endless. Boots are perfect for layering with a tunic dress. They look great when combined with stylish jeggings.

My Note: There is is a great post by Susan Good on her Sixty + Me Blog. Many article of this type are written for women in "age" transition, not unlike us also in transition.
The important factor for us to understand is that many of us are truly women in nature. What applies to women applies to us. We need to stop with all the labels; you know the ones, and accept our reality. Many of the labels distance us from the life we live or the live we want to live. These labile have become politicizing and to accept a marginalized category only plays into their "got you" stigmatizing us.
By us accepting that we are "Women" or "Feminine men" the we have accept that label have no power over us. As Pop Eye said it best "I am what I am". Bullies love to call marginalized groups by name calling. it reinforces their perceived superiority just as the "N" word keep an enslaved population down.
Transgender has become the "T" work of the day. The ACLU is tracking 494 anti-LGBTQ bills in the U.S. all targeted to the "T" community. According to the Pew Institute about 5% of young adults in the U.S. say their gender is different from their sex assigned at birth with the actual number identifying as transgender being less.
Transgender has become a "Dog whistle" for the conservative right. denoting politically correct (woke) gone astray. Is not putting down a person who want to become / be known or be seen / know as s a woman putting down women. Is being a women a bad thing? Feminine men have been around for centuries in all cultures. If being / becoming a woman is too much for you to accept then accept the fact that you are a "feminine man".
Bullies use name calling to make you less human and justify their punitive actions. By accepting who / what we are then we force the masked prejudice and bigotry to the surface.

What do I think about The Fashion Hero TV series?
I'm a 6'0" genderbending model with dreams bigger than little city I was raised in by the mountains in Tennessee! I got a city-boy personality with a good ol' southern heart. I am not signed with any agency but I have experience being a freelance model mainly just because I love expressing myself through fashion. I have dreams to become a model- a spokes model, to embrace self-love and to let EVERYONE know that you can be anything you want to be! I am currently employed as a Customer Service Manager for Walmart, 4 years strong! Maybe one day, I can finally end retail work and be walking runways in Europe or posing on front covers of Vogue magazines! Dream big!
Why would I be a great role model for this generation and inspire people as the new face of The Fashion Hero?
I love music. Going dancing. Going out-to-eat with friends and family. I love concerts. I love going on long aimless hikes. I love going shopping, mainly just grocery shopping though. I'd rather buy clothes online! Haha. I love going for car rides around the city or in the mountains. I enjoy making things and writing. I love make-up and watching tutorials. Drag Queens (i.e. Raja, Ongina, Violet Chachki, Aquaria), and fashion icons like, David Bowie, Freddie Mercury, and Perfume Genius are inspirations for my sense of style and fashions. I play a lot of video games! #pcgamer I spend the majority of my time working for Walmart! Stay passionate.

Wishes for a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. May you find good health, peace and happiness in 2025.
And above all else, Escape; live "your" life!
I was making my plans to look more like my spouse
I carefully laid out my very best clothes
My bra and my panties, my slip and my hose
My stockings weren't hung by the chimney tonite
They were on me instead, feeling sensually tight
My dress was of velvet, a burgundy red
I was looking so sexy, and feeling so sweet
When out in the yard there arose such a noise
That I sprang from my bedroom, forgetting my poise
The moon on the snow with it's brilliant white glitter
Reminds me of lace, to set my heart a-twitter
When what to my long-lashed eyes should appear
But a person in red with a sleigh and reindeer
But I couldn't tell, was it a 'he' or a 'she'
The one with the pack was dressed somewhat like me
There in the sleigh was this 'cutsey' old flirt
With a white wig and makeup, a red blouse and skirt
The reindeer were sparkling, with rhinestones and pearls
And their antlers in ribbons, so they all looked like girls
When s/he stepped from the sleigh, to my eyes were revealed
Her knee-hi black boots with their seven-inch heels
Santa just blushed, but I stood there and smiled
And said, "Hello, my dear, can you stay for awhile?"
"Well you finally caught me", he said with a pout
"At this time on Christmas, folks are seldom about."
"I don't go enfemme very often at home,
Mrs Clause doesn't like it, so I do it alone.
"So when I give out goodies to make others smile
"I like to feel pretty and femme for awhile."
"So I ride off dressed up, from my hi-heels to wig,
"On Christmas eve night while I'm doing my gig."
I said, "Don't worry Santa, your secret is safe
Why don't you come in and just freshen your face."
We sat and we talked and vented our passion
For feminine frills and the latest new fashions
We finally parted with a hug and a kiss
She said, "I must go now, or some children I'll miss"
I went to my party and had a great time
With music and laughter and good food and wine
But when I returned and looked under my tree
I found some new pretties from sweet Santa to me
Lacy panties, a bra and a soft satin blouse
Perfumes and some candles to light up my house
But it wasn't the goodies that swept away my blues
It was knowing that Santa was a cross dresser too
So next time don't judge all the people you meet
By what they are wearing when out on the street
For in being ones self, there's no 'wrong or right'

“It's a very small number of people we're talking about,” the president-elect said in an interview with Time
WASHINGTON – In a stunning change of tune, President-elect Donald Trump told Time in an interview published Thursday that the transgender bathroom debate isn’t that important and doesn’t affect many people anyway – despite his campaign and other GOP groups pouring tens of millions of dollars into political ads attacking transgender people.
“I don’t want to get into the bathroom issue,” Trump said in the interview, which took place in late November. “Because it’s a very small number of people we’re talking about.”
He suggested the Supreme Court should ultimately decide whether transgender people can use bathrooms that align with their gender identity, but reiterated that this debate — which was created entirely by Republicans — is not a priority.
“We’re talking about a very small number of people, and we’re talking about it, and it gets massive coverage, and it’s not a lot of people,” Trump said.
Roughly 1.6 million people ages 13 and older identify as transgender in the United States, according to The Williams Institute, an LGBTQ+ research center.
Trump’s latest comments are in sharp contrast to the way that he and his party relentlessly attacked transgender people on the campaign trail, stoking fears about trans people in sports, in bathrooms and in pursuit of gender-affirming care.
As of mid-October, Trump and Republicans had spent more than $65 million on anti-trans television ads in states with competitive races, per an analysis of AdImpact data from The New York Times. By the end of the campaign season, the GOP had spent nearly $215 million on television ads fanning fear and hatred of trans people, according to AdImpact data cited by a Washington Post reporter. That figure doesn’t include cable or streaming ads, either.
One of Trump’s most memorable campaign ads attacked Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris for supporting trans rights. “Kamala is for they/them. President Trump is for you,” said the 30-second ad.
The ad was specifically attacking Harris for saying in 2019 that she supported gender-affirming care for people in federal prisons and immigrant detention. This was not an issue that Harris was campaigning on in 2024, but it was a law that Trump followed as president in his first term.
Only two federal prisoners have ever undergone these procedures, and PolitiFact could find no record of any immigration detainees receiving gender-affirming surgeries.
Trump reportedly aired this ad more than 30,000 times in every swing state and spent more money on it than on all the other ads in his campaign combined.
In his Time interview, Trump was also asked about Republican attacks on transgender Rep.-elect Sarah McBride (D-Del.). McBride isn’t even in Congress yet and has already become the target of transphobic attacks by Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.), who introduced a bill aimed at barring McBride from using women’s bathrooms in the House.
McBride has responded to Mace’s attacks by saying there are more important issues to focus on in Congress than bathrooms. When Trump was asked if he agrees with incoming House Democrat McBride, he emphatically said yes.
“I do agree with that. On that—absolutely,” said the president-elect. “As I was saying, it’s a small number of people.”
As for his “Kamala is for they/them. President Trump is for you” ad attacking Harris’ support for trans rights, Trump again downplayed his months of attacks on transgender people and said he is for everyone.

When I was very young and still living as a guy, I took trips with only women’s clothes in my suitcase. That meant I was all dressed up, in make-up and heels, went to the airport and then I would spend a week in another city. At that point it was clear that I had to pass [be out]. There were only skirts in the suitcase. To get my breakfast in the morning, I had to be presentable as a woman.Later, I threw away all my men’s clothing. I had shopped women’s thing for a while with quite an impressive wardrobe like many crossdressers. One day I brought everything which looked like man and all unisex pieces to the thrift store. So, it is Monday morning, you need to go to your university class and the only thing in your wardrobe are ladies pants, blouses and feminine tops. No way out, you need to go out like this.I shaped my eyebrows in a real nice feminine arch. This plus a feminine haircut plus color somehow added another element. You can’t look very masculine with this and you cannot take if off anymore. [trapped]I build guardrails for myself in this process to guide me away from masculine behaviors. The interesting part here regarding feminization, is something that I call the uphill-downhill effect. At first, feminization is an uphill trip. Every step costs a lot of effort. People and your own mind want to push you back to masculine and you need a lot of effort and discipline to push yourself to feminine. Once you are over the hill, society pushes you towards more feminine. From that point on feminization works on autopilot.
It's okay to come out and be the person you see inside.
A really fun morning with several ladies clubs coming together to exchange cookies and share the upcoming holidays.
A second Trump presidency could mean devastating legislative and cultural setbacks for transgender people. Here's how to stay safe and supported.
As LGBTQ+ voters who’ve already lived through a Donald Trump presidency, we are fully aware of the first Trump administration’s anti-LGBTQ+ standpoints, specifically those surrounding transgender rights. And for many transgender Americans, a second Trump presidency could mean devastating legislative and cultural setbacks, such as reversals of civil rights. These may include an executive order to reinstate a military ban on transgender service members, the targeting of antidiscrimination policies that protect transgender students, and the potential rejection of the still-pending Equality Act, which would ensure that sexual orientation and gender identity have the same civil protections as race, ethnicity and other protected characteristics.
In short, the next Trump presidency could further roll back civil liberties for transgender individuals living in the United States.
What’s equally unsettling about this is that in public life, many people who possess hostile views of LGBTQ+ individuals may feel emboldened to act on those attitudes. Being Chinese American and transgender, I’m painfully aware of how unsettling a Trump presidency was and can be.
To help mitigate these shared anxieties and uncertainties, I’ve compiled a list of ways that transgender individuals can find support from legal, health care and community resources. While we can’t predict the next four years, we can stay informed and equip ourselves with the information needed to protect ourselves and our communities.
#7 - Become your own best medical advocate.
Not all transgender individuals may undergo medical transition, but for those who desire to do so, knowing where to start can be difficult. And with the next U.S. administration’s hostility toward transgender individuals already apparent, it may be difficult to access relevant health resources. Organizations like New York City’s Callen-Lorde offer breakdowns of various medical procedures that transgender patients may want to educate themselves on, which could be critical in better pinpointing gender-affirming medical practitioners.
Ermonn Women's Heeled Sandals Velcro |
I have a high instep that makes any female shoes that has a strap that crosses the center foot, nearly impossible to get on and unconformable over time. Boots are the worst. These two issues are counter intuitive in that the higher the heel the more elevated the the instep. As much as I love high heels, finding the Goldilocks, "comfort vs fashion", shoe has always been difficult.
The shoe purchased has a 3 1/3" heel, and is adjustable (Velcro) cross mid strap and toe. Very comfortable. Here is the Amazon description: "Ermonn Womens Two Strap Heeled Sandals Velcro Slip On Square Open Toe Stiletto"
These are not ball-gown Stiletto pumps. However, are a prefect jeans, shorts, or casual skirt shoe. Both the lower strap and upper (across instep) are adjustable.
Here is a more scientific discussion on the Feminine Differential of male vs female feet /shoes.
_________________
In the ol' days, work shoes (then work sneakers) were designed by men, for men's use. Later, when women started needing robust shoes for work, smaller "female" sizes were made - but the shoe designs remained based on a men's foot mould. It stemmed from the belief that our feet were just smaller versions of men’s feet.
Modern science has since called BS on that, but fake foot news still exists. Most women are unaware of how history has left us wearing ill-fitting shoes designed for men, so the shoe industry has been slow to change. The hard truth is women’s feet are anatomically different to a man’s - that's just science. And wearing a men’s fit is not good for our feet, legs or lower back.
Reading scientific stuff is not for everyone, so here's the low-down. Basically researchers normalised foot length measurements so they could compare the genders. Then they discovered:
Do not be discouraged in your search for elegant feminine shoes. There are so many varsities; size, heel height and designs... Finding just the right shoe can be daunting. However, isn't the sopping and selection part of the fun too. Good luck!
