It's so true. I am often asked why am I dressed up, as if dressing nicely is unusual. But I guess it is. Many people today just don't give much thought to their appearance, so those of us that do, are considered uncommon. I have never felt obligated to blend in. When I am expressing my feminine persona, I don't necessarily have a desire to stand out, but I do want my femininity recognized, therefore, I guess my business-oriented style surprises people. However, I don't see a need to apologize for being well-dressed.
