Peter Yarrow, the Peter of Peter, Paul and Mary, Dies at 86
The folk trio he formed with Noel Paul Stookey and Mary Travers became a pop phenomenon, scoring hits like “If I Had a Hammer” and “Puff the Magic Dragon.”
I loved Peter, Paul and Mary. They were in the soundtrack of my youth. In fact, I still have two of their albums on my phone (I've finally grown past my IPod days). I find myself singing to 'Old Stewball was a racehorse' from time to time. The tune just stuck with me. That leaves Paul Stookey remaining until they're lost to history. I and many others will miss them. Thank you for your tribute. Randi
