A lot of hit and miss - Early on many photos to see what worked. Now days there are good blogs that discuss dressing "at a certain age" and show style at a reasonable cost. I do shop sales both in stores and on-line. Talbots online has good sales as well as Ralph Lauren. Banana Republic and Chico's also has good stuff. All do returns if something does not work.
