This past Tuesday I attended the final performance of the 2018 Flagler Museum Music Series. Here is a link on last year's concluding concert. I have been attending since 1999 which was the inaugural season. Whitehall, Henry Flagler's Gilded Age estate in Palm Beach, was built 1902 and has long been associated with great music. Flagler Museum continues this tradition with the chamber music series. World class performances in an intimate home like setting.
This evening was no exception with two Mozart pieces and Claude Debussy's La Mer ("The Sea"). These pieces were performed by the world famous Henschel String Quartett. After the concerts there is always a champagne and desert reception.
Most shocking that evening was running into an acquaintance I had not seen in over 20 years. Darn, should have gotten my hair done!
Susan Bigsby is am image consultant that I contacted many-many years for a makeover and closet/wardrobe consultation. Well worth it! We ended up friends and sharing much, including mutual friends. That is a long story and not for today.

I had not seen Susan in over 20 years and I just love her reaction; "Do I know you?", upon my saying hello. Long hugs followed. Maybe I have changed....
