If you can go out, be visible - network, educate, advocate, volunteer.
If you are shy about going out, support other transgender persons
and transgender group that advocate for you.
If you do not know other
transgenders persons, join / support an LGBT or "equal rights for all" organization.
If you are not gay, understand we are in this alphabetic soup
together. You do not want to be the last when they come for you and there
is no one left to speak-out.
If you think the politicians will do the right thing without you being visible
and active – think again. Just look
around as to what is happening.
