A Moon Pie Evening

"Girlfriend's of Hobe Sound" Meetup Group July '23

July’s full-moon is the largest of the year. My Meetup group, "Girlfriend's of Hobe Sound" had a fun summer evening at Hobe Sound Beach, July 3. Everyone came early and we enjoyed appetizers, two pizzas and wine. The night would have not been complete with out "Moon Pies", that I brought. 

Hobe Sound is a small beach community just 30 minutes north. There is a beautiful tree lined drive to a secluded, almost all locals beach. There is free parking, a small pavilion, changing rooms, and direct access to the beach. It is clean, well maintained and always a treat to visit.    

For our July evening at the beach, the weather was beautiful.  Early afternoon thunderstorm were all gone and we had a beautiful cooling sea breeze ae we sat on the beach waiting for the moonrise. A near clear sky and full moon for a wonderful "Girlfriends" outing.
