Helped Write 'The Way We Were'
One of my favorite movies had the song “Memories” as its title song. It is haunting.
It's was the title song to the 1973 film The "Way We Were" which starred Barbra Streisand and actor Robert Redford. It was also featured as the title song on her 1974 album. The song topped the Billboard Hot 100 and won an Academy Award and a Golden Globe Award for “Best Original Song.”
Memories - "Can it be that it was all so simple then. Or has time rewritten every line. If we had the chance to do it all again, tell me - Would we? Could we?"
I was SO jealous of Barbra's gorgeous nails then...still am. --Juliet
