Tall Women In High Heels

What men really think when they see a tall woman wearing high heels.

From the Site SheKnows:
by Kacie McCoy

It’s a bold woman who wears 4-inch heels when she already towers over a room in bare feet. We talked with a handful of guys to get their take on fearless Amazon women in high heels. As a 6’3″ woman myself, I often wonder what men think when I wear high heels. As it turns out, most men love the look! So grab your stilettos and hit the town, tall women everywhere, because you’re about to turn a few heads.

Here are the Comments:

Feeling shy

“Tall women who wear heels are so pretty, but I definitely feel intimidated by them. I’m only 5’8″, so a woman who wears high heels is going to make me stare but probably not ask her out.” Joe, age 25.

“I usually think tall women who wear heels are sexy but out of my league. They look like models, and I’m just a regular guy. I probably wouldn’t approach her in a bar, even if I wanted to.” Martin, age 31.

“I feel some tall women wear heels to further emphasize their height. Like, ‘Look, I’m taller than you,’ or ‘Yes, I’m over 6’0″ tall in these heels.'” Matt, age 27.

Bring on the gorgeous legs!

“Tall women in high heels have legs that go on for miles. I don’t care if a woman is taller than me — those legs in high heels look spectacular!” Ryan, age 35.

“I’ve never seen a more beautiful woman than a 6’0″ co-worker at my old job. She would wear nicely fitted clothes to work, and would pair every outfit with sexy high heels. The heels made her legs look amazing. To this day, I kick myself for not asking her out. I just figured she wouldn’t want to date a shorter guy.” Tim, age 44.

Gwendoline Christie—Height: 6 feet 3 inches
HBO’s series “Game of Thrones.”

Confidence is a turn-on

“Simply put: I think tall women in heels are confident, secure and beautiful.” Jerome, age 28.

“There’s nothing better than a woman who knows who she is and what she likes. I can’t help but think tall women who wear high heels fall in that category, because I’m sure they field a ton of questions and comments due to their fashion choices.” Samuel, age 34.

Strange sensations

“When I see a tall woman in heels, I automatically wonder what kind of super children we could make together. Yum.” Zack, age 35.

“If I see a tall woman in a bar or club, I’ll stare at her for most of the night, but I won’t ask her to dance until we’re both adequately drunk. Girls like that are intimidating.” Michael, age 28.

“It’s weird to make out with someone taller than me, but bring it on!” Jake, age 25.

  1. All but one of the men giving their takes are Millennials, the one GenXer being close in age to one. I can't help but think they would look at me in my 4" heels and say, "OK, Boomer.(pun intended) It's alright with this Boomer, though, because I'm not interested in dating them or making out with them. On the occasions that I've danced with men, I've been taller than them, but I don't think that was the reason for not being asked for a second dance. Although I learned how to dance most of the ballroom dances, as a man, I acquire a form of dyslexia when I try to dance "backward." I'm definitely no Ginger Rodgers, but I can appreciate what she said about dancing with Fred Astaire - that she could do everything he did, but backwards and in heels. Not many Millennials know ballroom dancing, anyway, so I'm safe, there. ;-)

  2. Wow. Thanks for the Christmas present. I am a big guy so when I put on my heels I become even more impressive. I all regards, size does matter and while being so tall and adding heels may make me stand out more wherever I go I suppose taking a 'dam the torpedoes' attitude will get me through.
    Merry Christmas

  3. I am 6'5" barefoot. I figure that I'm going to be noticed and be recognized as trans anyway, so why not wear a cute pair of heels. A nice pair of heels simply makes me feel good. Thank goodness for Amazon, where I can find some really great heels in a size 15. One of the main compliments I get is on my legs. Ciswomen often ask if I can really walk in them. Yes, yes I can.

  4. I am 6'-0",age 66 and even in 'guy mode' my tanned legs in cutoffs garner compliments from the ladies. Sometime when I am feeling crazy, I accept their compliment, I answer "Thanks, you ought to see 'em in heels and hose!" AND if I am really in CRAZY MODE, and if they offer disbelief I offer the lady a view of a selected selfie! Most are amazed!
My legs were shaped by the exercise of years of climbing up and down tractor-trailer ladders.
When I am in gurl mode, wearing just 3" heels with hose, the compliments really come forth from the ladies.... Quite a rush!
If you 'got em' flaunt em' !
Cant wait for warm weather to return, so I can show off my 'gams'.

  5. I'm still in a bit of a flux from some time ago, when a man came up to me as I walked in through the grocery store door. I don't usually wear heels to go grocery shopping, by the way, but I was on my way home from some event. Anyway, the guy looked me up and down and said, "You are one monumental woman." Is there room for me on Mt. Rushmore? :-)
