Definition - something designed to obscure, confuse, or mislead (Merriam-Webster).

Fact: As of late March, the Gun Violence Archive has counted 130 mass shootings in the United States this year. Last year, the group counted 647 mass shootings. Of those, 21 involved five or more fatalities.  All involved one type of gun or another.

Do not accept the narrative, "smoke screen", put out by the gun lobby and FOX news.  *Guns are the real issue.
