This is a really cute stripe top. The V-neck and Chevron stripe front both enhance the top's length and add a trimming effect. The drop shoulder work beautifully on me and add some coverage to the upper arm. Add to that the tie front and you have a trimming look to the waist line that gives the illusion of hips even if there are not any.
The top is Karen Kane's Mitered-Stripe Tie-Front and is available for both Belk and Bloomingdales; both have it on sale. It comes in both Gold and Olive, and I am hoping that the olive is dark enough to wear with my black stripe fabric Sam Edelman pumps. There is one positive to Karen Kane - Made in USA.
If you like the tie-front look, Karen Kane has many to select from this season. This top will look great with white jeans or shorts. Spring is here and summer soon. Escape in style.
