Feminine Differential - Getting Ready

I am sure so many of us can relate to this.  Going to work as Rhonda was a one hour process and that was on a morning that I did not wash and set my hair.  Choosing the outfit, hot curlers and makeup was the ideal situation.  Washing, blow drying and styling hair was at least another 30 minutes plus.  Still a lot more time that I ever spent getting ready in my other gender - although not near as much fun.

I have friends that talk about the 2-3 hour process and early on that was the case for me as well. That was part of the allure as much as going out. Work did change that in that there was not the luxury of time in the morning.  Still I never tire of to getting ready and going...

How long does it take you - start to out-the-door?

  1. Being a woman has added 30-45 minutes. It used to be 45 minutes from the time my feet hit the floor until my backside hit my office chair (there's a Starbucks stop along the way). This morning it was 1 1/2 hours, yesterday a little less. And so it goes.
