Happy Labor Day

Labor Day is the unofficial end of summer.  Oh, what a summer it has been!  Take today to reflect and if you live close to a beach/shore pool, or lake enjoy the outdoors while being careful.

Above is a new Tory Burch bathing suit I got last week.   Now that I have a place at the beach, I hope it gets used.

Have a wonderful holiday and ESCAPE.

  1. All wealth is initially derived from a persons LABOR.
    Respect the laborer, respect YOURSELF.
"An honest days wage (read: a living wage) for an honest days work.
"As you do to the least of us, you do to YOURSELF!" (paraphrased from the JESUS.)
In spite of what most COLLEGE LEVEL ECONOMICS TEXTS blithely explain, that:
    "Labor is a COMMODITY",-- NOT.
LABOR IS PEOPLE. LABOR IS YOU.
    YOU ARE NOT A COMMODITY.
You are indeed treated as a disposable, interchangeable commodity in the employment marketplace.
"In business, you dont get what you deserve, you get what you NEGOTIATE."-- Quote from Forbes Business Magazine.

I hope you had the day off. I have 'had the day off' since age 55-, 11 years ago. RETIRED with PENSION AND HEALTHCARE. We did not 'beg for it', we demanded and won these benefits...
